It’s not unusual for fashion retailers and brands to be using Excel spreadsheets for their planning needs, but as UK businesses become more multichannel and international will we reach a crossroads where more investment in these types of systems is not just inevitable, but essential.
This Drapers breakfast discussion will draw on some of the findings of a report produced by Columbus Consulting sponsored by Island Pacific
We want to know, how does your business operate? Are you Excel based and if so, how effectively does that feed into your company’s IT infrastructure? Or have you made the investment in Planning, Assortment Planning or merchandising software? Does your board understand the challenges you face, or does the case for investment and the ROI still need to be made? What does your team structure look like and how does it feed into these different processes.
The event will be on-the-record, and will be written up as a feature within Drapers. However, there will also be plenty of time for off-the-record discussion and networking before and after the main discussion.
